Meet Kristin

I was born and raised in the Midwest and have lived with my husband, David, and three children in Champlin for the last ten years. It was my life-long desire to join the medical field. Therefore, my early educational path took me to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and The University of Texas at Austin where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology. In time I decided that my dream to practice medicine was incompatible with my greater wish to have a family. However, my desire to provide an important service to people was very essential to me.

I chose to pursue a law degree with an emphasis on providing service to people in need.
I attended William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul. While continuing my travels I attended Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia and Tulane University School of Law’s International program in São Paulo, Brazil. I began a career in Criminal Law in Atlanta before returning to Minnesota to have our first child, Maddie.

I was admitted to the Minnesota Bar and began working with the Anoka County Public Defenders representing juveniles. Then, Maya, our second child was born and a realization that courtroom work did not allow for the flexibility in managing a family. For the past seven years I have been exclusively focused on wills and estate planning.

Convenience for You
It is very satisfying to provide this service in a manner that makes the process as easy as possible for my clients. Now with our third child, Matteo, and ailing parents, I understand how difficult it can be for you to meet multiple times in an office during business hours. That is why I provide you with the convenience of meeting during non-business hours or the option of me coming to your place of business or home.

Knowledgeable and Informed
To stay informed in the ever-changing field of Estate Planning I am a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and its professional section devoted to Estate Planning, the Hennepin County Bar Association, as well as an Estate Planning study group of attorneys devoted to providing the best representation possible. And to continue my passion for serving the community, I volunteer for Wills for Heroes that provides free wills for police and firefighters.
